Thread 4.5mm bead on shank

Start thread

Start Thread. Move the bead about a 1/4 of the way back off the eye. Then figure 8 wrap the thread over the bead to lock it in. Then move to the tail.

Tie braid loop in

Make the braid loop the length of the shank and tie it in.

Tie rabbit strip in

Double the length of the shank for the strip. Brush the hair back at halfway point and tie in to the back of the shank.

Tie in UV yarn

Tie in UV yarn and wrap forward. Till you get to the bead.

Tie off rabbit strip

Then lay the other half of the strip back down on top of the shank and UV yarn. Tie off the rabbit strip building the body.

Palmer Maribou

Tie in tip of the maribou and then Palmer it. Making profile and bulk.

Tie in Krinkle Flash

Tie in Krinkle Flash. 2 strands on each side.

Stack Deer Hair twice

Wrap forward in front of the bead. Cut, pack, and stack deer hair

Whip finish

Wrap forward through deer hair

Loop trailer hook in

Thread trailer hook with braid and then secure.
